Goldfish Plant

The goldfish plant (Nemathanthus Gregarius, sometimes notes as Columnea Nematanthus) is a sturdy vining plant that has a bushy growth pattern. When a goldfish plant flowers it has vibrant orange blooms that resemble tiny goldfish swimming among glossy green foliage, hence the name!

Water: Let the soil mostly dry between waterings, but don’t let it stay dry for a prolonged period.

Light: Provide bright indirect light to maintain growth and frequent blooms, but shield it from direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorching. Low light will reduce flowering

Considerations: keep it away from drafts and cold temperatures. This plant grows in a shrub-like pattern.
